Our popular Grade II listed pub, known locally as the 'Mucky Duck' dates back to the late 18th century and overlooks the Trent & Mersey Canal & Coventry Canal junction. Our seating area is split into a Bar and Lounge area that wraps around the bar itself. We also offer further seating in our cellar bar, which can be hired out for functions. We have a large outside space with plenty of seating, most of which is situated on the canal. NEW ADDITION! We now have an ice cream parlour with eighteen flavours to entice you!
Nearby is Fradley Pool Nature Reserve. As well as our friends the swans and ducks, you might even see bats and terrapins at the Fradley Pool Nature Reserve and floating bird island.
Fradley junction is where the Coventry Canal joins the Trent & Mersey Canal. It’s one of the busiest places on the waterways with cafes a pub and the ever popular Fradley pool nature reserve. At Fradley, canals, boats and people meet making it a great place for a family visit. You’ll find leaflets and guides behind the bar.
